-----Expertise in Serious Games-----
Description:
When Rivers Were Trails is a point-and-click adventure game about the impact of colonization on Indigenous communities in the 1890's. It won the Adaptation Award at IndieCade 2019.
My Contributions:
My largest contributions to the game included the overworld map movement system and working out an extension to Inkle, the asset which controls the conversations in game, that would let us call functions from other scripts in the game. This allowed us to start minigames from conversations as well as add to or subtract from the various resources available to the player in the game.
